I bought this monitor for my gaming and 3D rig to replace a 24" Samsung (that was moved onto my second gaming rig).The 27" size is awesome for gaming, I play a lot of CrysisWars GTA4 Left4Dead2 Quakewars UT3 and they look simply amazing and very immersive. The larger format is definitely noticeable over the 24".The computer is also used for doing 3D work, and Max etc. looks great on it.The unit I got has only one partially lighting pixel on the left side, and the rest of the screen is very even and balanced. For only one bad pixel I won't be returning it.The number of IO connections is fantastic, allowing you to connect almost anything to this. The remote is nice and is also used to program the monitor settings.A few minor notes:- As shown in the image the stand is the single thin neck style, so the monitor can easily wobble if you tap it. I've installed this style before though so I knew what I was getting.- The stand doesn't tilt. On most computer desks you may have to put a 2" block under the monitor to raise it.- You only get an HDMI cable, no VGA or DVI cables are included. It's a good thing that I had a spare DVI here...- I am using this in a dual monitor configuration and the thick casing is a bit annoying. You can tell that Samsung designed this more for home media than for computing.Overall an excellent monitor.

Very happy with this purchase. I'm trying to build a machine that would look okay in a living room, nice and elegant. The mirror like finish on the faux glass lcd frame looks great. The "starlight" menu is kind of cool, I like it. They even threw in a microfibre cloth for dust and fingerprints.
