Bought this for my dad for watching movies and browsing. I love the new technology; super slim, lightweight, lower power consumption (no more big fat cables) and sleek design. No HDMI so that is kind of a bummer but the DVI-D rocks anywaysThe picture is super bright and clear which is great for my dad's old eyes and coming from an old 4:3 LCD to the widescreen really improves the layout and browsing experience. Running this monitor off of a BFG 512 8600GT and get an *unlimited number of resolutions out of the monitor- thank you Samsung ;p All in all, if you don't mind the size, this monitor rocks! |
I bought this for a low end desktop to replace my old monitor and resulted not very good. Doesn't have very good quality and it only has a VGA connector, so it doesn't have too much future meaning that is not a good investment for the future.
