Pros:Decent monitor, very cool to look at from behind. |

Samsung S22A300B 22IN Widescreen LED Backlit LCD Monitor 1920X1080 5ms DVI VGA
Cons:NOT 22" (21.5, and you notice)
Pros:Excellent Picture Quality Comment:
I bought this monitor on sale and have been very impressed by the quality of the image. It is however much smaller than my other 22" due to a) The frame is much smaller, but because of the fact that it is labeled a "22" series, it becomes flagged as a 22" when it is not. the 21.5" makes a huge difference in comparison.b) the HD capabilty and resolution while great, makes it harder to work with. Definently check again and make sure just because NCIX labels it 22" that it is 22" in the specifications |

Samsung S22A300B 22IN Widescreen LED Backlit LCD Monitor 1920X1080 5ms DVI VGA
Cons:22 inch'stftis not the best monitor in its size class
Pros:colors look vivid Comment:
I bought this monitor for $129.99 and for that price it definitely deserves 5 stars because the colors look just gorgeous. Everything on this monitor is so vivid and the quality of the tft screen seems to be alot better than a lot of the benq's that are typically priced the same as this monitor. |

Samsung S22A300B 22IN Widescreen LED Backlit LCD Monitor 1920X1080 5ms DVI VGA
Cons:-No swivel OR pivot-No HDMI
Pros:-Bright and vibrant-Magic Angle is a neat idea-Light and thin Comment:
The size of the monitor, aside from the screen, is great. Exactly what I expected for a 22" LCD. Looks good, looks vibrant, no ghosting, and no dead pixels. The one minor problem is that there is no way to pivot or angle the monitor whatsoever, therefore you have to set it at an appropriate height or use Samsung's Magic Angle- which basically adjusts settings for greater viewing angles. As far as a gaming and general purpose monitor goes, it's great! sufficient definitely! Could use an HDMI just for the functionality of it, but it's a monitor, it isn't a standard port, and DVI and VGA are ample.Four stars because it is very good, but there are better monitors out there- for more cash (of course) This review was modfied by poster @ 11-04-11 12:58 PM |

Samsung S22A300B 22IN Widescreen LED Backlit LCD Monitor 1920X1080 5ms DVI VGA
Cons:Case design[update] Case design is OK
Pros:Excellent picture quality Comment:
The picture quality is amazing. But the stand is completely rigid and will not tilt or swivel. I assumed all monitors would at the very least be able to tilt. This is not the case. The viewing plane is fixed vertically, straight up and down. Before you buy a Samsung monitor look closely at the pictures of the backside of this monitor. All Samsung monitors with this type of stand will not tilt or swivel.[update] The monitor DOES tilt. These instructions show how to make it tilt on a similar Samsung monitor,http://yvonnelew.blogspot.com/2010/05/how-to-tilt-samsung-syncmaster-b2230.html This review was modfied by poster @ 08-25-11 06:43 PM |
Done it job as cheap high dpi monitor, over all, a decent purchase as I mostly used it for coding.
