Cons:Full HDMI reslolution not always available.Missing DVI connector. Not an IPS monitor.
Pros:Ability to adjust blacks to achieve nice color levels. Comment:
Limits HDMI resolution by mini HDMI camera feed. Better ION HDMI cable doesn't fix it. PC/AV mode makes no difference. The same camera and cable using a 21.5" LG works at full & sharp resolution. Won't purchase SAMSUNG next time. |

great monitor bought it as a bundle with 2 of them great colour and depth its a Samsung led what more can i say great price would defiantly recommend any of these line of monitors to anyone looking they are great for gaming, movies, editing or just general use 21" might be a little small for some people if so then i would get the next size up but defiantly stick to this line. |

Heard a lot about how poor the support of the cd is.. Didn't use it myself as catalyst control center let's me adjust all the monitor settings. Stand is about as poor as my flatron, makes sense for the price that it is. I would not recommend this monitor if you don't have a gpu with an HDMI port. You would have to use a D-sub-dvi.. You'd lose out on some quality there. |

Cons:If there is a "tilt stand function" as advertised, I have yet to find it. (It's a good thing the MagicAngle function works well, otherwise I would have returned the monitor. When first connected, the display looked awful due to the angle.)Both printed and digital manuals are poorly written.Drivers and MagicTune software are flaky and appear to have a problem with Windows 7 (64 bit)Online support is badly outdated, difficult to navigate and in spots very confusing.

The display quality is very good and it appears to be very well made. However, it takes a fair bit of fiddling and adjusting to set it up correctly. The flaky software and poor online support site don not help much in getting it set up correctly. I suspect that a lot of people may not persist and simply return the unit. The monitor is worth 5 stars, but I deducted one for the poor software and online support. |
