Works as it should, very pleased with it! No problems whatsoever, it's what you would expect from a DVD drive.

This drive is ok, If I had to do it over again I might look for a Pioneer. I'm kinda a fan of their DVD drives. Problem I had with this drive was it was in PLO mode and I had a hell of a time figuring out to make it run with DMA. On PLO the speed was under 2x for read and write, not it's much better. Using Windows XP x64. Overall it's an ok drive, but it didn't impress me too much. Speed is ok and it's still kinda loud.

Reliable drive, does what I need it for (installing Windows) It didn't have a SATA cable with it, but I had extras so wasn't a big issue.

Not much to say it does the job and for the 15$ I got it for I can't complain. It's not ground breaking but if you just need a cheap DVD player, which I did for my new computer which is SATA only then you can't go wrong with this.

Aside from what a DVD driver is suppose to do, this OEM driver works. I got this on boxing day, so it was a great deal. Speed to price factor was just too good to resist.

What more is there to say about this drive? Picked it up on sale for $17, and it works like a champ. Reads & burns very quickly -- just can't go wrong at that price.

IT is a cheap $20 drive and you get exactly that, a $20 drive and that's all.

There is really nothing special or wrong with this drive. Easy to install, gets the job done. Only other thought is that it is loud, but any DVD drive is loud. It's a good purchase.

Not much to say about it. It was the cheapest SATA drive when I bought it. To my surprise, it's quite quiet. As long as it gets me through installing Windows, I'm happy.

Good functioning drive that ships as an OEM unit. All I needed - completely satisfied with the product. Bought to install windows and burn a few discs. Sticks out of my bay slightly which is a little unfortunate.

I bought this burner for a new build that didn't have a IDE connector so I couldn't recycle my old one; this was the cheapest drive available during a weekly sale, so I went for it.Not much else to say, it works.

upgraded to a gigabyte z68 board and it didn't have IDE support. Perfect timing to have this drive for sale.No problems with install, drive is quiet, can't complain much for the price you're paying.

This dvd burner is really fast, my father using it for 3 days and he cant stop saying how fast it is. Not so much to say. Just buy if you need one.
