Sans Digital TR5UT-B TowerRAID Hard Drive Enclosure - 3.5 SATA to USB/eSATA/5B/RA, 5x Bays, Black

I have 2 of the SansDigital TR5M-B (software Raid towers) but they need to stay connected to the computer that has the software installed.. and supposibly they don't work with Windows 7. BUT.. with this TR5UT-B system I can connect to ANY of my computers via USB or eSata. This allows me to keep all my media files with me when I travel (my HP laptop has eSata port). The two TR5M-Bs (5x1.5TB ech) are set up with redundancy (raid-5) to back up everything I have, so I've not bothered with redundancy on this TR5UT-B; also, Raid-0 is faster Input-Output. Anyway, I love this TowerRAID box. With 5x2TB HDDs I end up with a 9.09TB hard disk that I can use to save or send data with any computer inside or outside of my network. If you have a large quantity of DVD quality video files this is an easier and more compact method of storing them than keeping 100s (or 1000s) of individual DVD Discs. I've not used the included 6Gb eSata PCIe card yet.
