Sanyo VPC-FH1ABK Dual Camera Xacti Camcorder (Black)
Cons:
Only 10x optical zoom, the only cable it didn't come with was the HDMI cable to connect to the TV(it had component cables)
Pros: Compact, relatively easy to use,was one of the first true HD cams(1080p),came with most cables and connectors you could ever use. |

Sanyo VPC-FH1ABK Dual Camera Xacti Camcorder (Black)
Cons:
bad image stabilization, video a little grainy, video file sizes are large
Pros: 1080p HD, small size, great for low light, good price, can takes 2MP photo while video recording Comment:
I like the small compact size and it's lightweight, true 1080p HD video however the created MP4 files are large (2 minutes is 350MB). I like it's luminance in low light condition. While video recording, it can take 2MP photo simultaneously which is not bad for 8x10 photo. I'm using class4 SDHC cards and no problem recording. The downside I hate is poor image stabilization, there's a lot of shake specially when in zoom and while walking. This review was modfied by poster @ 05-05-10 07:12 PM |
All in all it was a great buy for my purposes. It has plenty of features and yet is relatively easy to use.I am going against a lot of reviews that complain about the low light performance I find it to be very good. Also i thought the camera is easily kept steady even when zooming. It sits nicely in your hand. One "toy" feature i really like is the high speed(slow motion)recording.
