--incredible cost-performance ratio!!--plays battlefield negative business two on all high settings ƒx MSAA even though)--stays Below 60 Celsius (except through furmark extreme burning mode lol)--quite quiet even with my custom fan curve (msi afterburner) which is not specifically tailored for silence :)--for 贶!??!? A TOTAL NO-BRAINER!!! get it!!!!! Amazing overall performance you will not be disappointed unless u try to play crysis on 6monitors at after lol It's not as potent as a 5970? (disregard that)The thermal paste included is not applied quite effectively (at least on mine) only half of the chip in fact had paste on it and the paste wasn't so high high quality the high quality element wouldn't have bothered me but the negative application did...the card was going into the mid 70's gaming and would exceed 80 Celsius in furmark! Took off the shroud and pit some Arctic Silver five on and VOILA! In my first build...It does have a side fan blowing on it (Antec 600 situation with fantastic airflow) and it has arctic silver for thermal paste, as well as a custom fan curve so I almost certainly get superior temps than most...OCed to 900 core񳃫 memory Totally stable for two months

This card is certainly remarkable. I have an Acer X192W with a max resolution of 1440x900. At the moment I am able to run practically any game I throw at it at MAX res, and full anti aliasing on. This card for the cash is Effectively worth the price. I have not been able to come across a single flaw in this card as far as the operation of it goes. I extremely advocate this card to everyone seeking to upgrade their old 1. It doesn't dance for you when you play music seriously loud!

My 5 year old personal computer operating Windows XP 64 runs like new once again. My prior card, an EVGA Geforce 7900GT, was giving up the ghost. I was finding garbled screens whenever running Fallout 3 on medium to low settings and also on WoW. Now I can run via Fallout three on high settings with high frame rates and no problems whatsoever. Just gotta attempt SCII now. Not much of a con, didn't believe it was worth docking an egg due to the fact I'm employed to this with my OS and there was an easy repair, but the driver cd would not initialize. I got an error stating the plan wasn't a valid Win32 application even though it lists WinXP 64 as a supported OS. I had to download the drivers from Sapphire's internet site. Just a heads up if any person obtaining this has the exact same OS. My Specs:Asus A8N SLI Deluxe Mobotwo gig RAMAMD Athlon64 3500+ @ 2.2GHzAntec TrueControl 2. Comment:
The Sapphire HD 5770 is a "no brainer" obtain. The cost is good and the efficiency is stellar for what is packed on the PCB. The good quality I received of the item is excellent correct down to the packing material enveloping the card. The card is sitting in my putter proper now at a temp around 39C and is most likely cooler, but the CCC doesn't register temps any lower. The fan is quiet. Significantly much more quiet than the HD 4890 I replaced. I replaced the HD 4890 for this card due to the fact it doesn't considerably outperform this card which is quiter, cooler, and employed much less power. And, this card is a DX11 card which is immediately applied by Windows 7. Not to mention all the other bells and whistles that come in this upgrade. I couldn't be a lot more pleased with this Sapphire item! When I plugged in this card, booted up, and installed the CCC and drivers, there was a black border about my screen. I wish Sapphire would include in their directions how to set GPU scaling. With just a single click on a box the situation was resolved, but it took me a few needless minutes attempting to find out how to fix the issue. This card replaced an HD 4890 and I couldn't be a lot more content with the replacement. I wanted anything less noisy, cooler, and a lot more energy efficient and which would also give me the advantages of employing DX11 with Windows 7. This card does that all and will allow me to play all my games at max settings.

This card is extremely nice. For most games, it runs excellent at 1920x1080 resolution with minimal AA and AF, although AF doesn't generally stress the card out as well substantially. For 1280x1024 gaming, you can turn every little thing up and not have to worry about anything at all with the exception of really handful of games. The Vapor-X cooling is extremely great and teaming it up with MSI Afterburner and setting up fan manage levels will allow you to hold the temperatures beneath 60 C. that temperature is also with Core Clock at 900 MHz and Memory Clock at 1300 MHz, both of which are completely stable immediately after running for an complete week with out being shut down and operating games such as Negative Corporation two and Metro 2033. I haven't attempted out Crossfire but so I can't attest to how well it operates. Some games at 1920x1080 don't run incredibly well since of how graphically intensive they are. I have to keep AA off or at a low level on Bad Firm 2 in order to run it at smooth frame rates. Then again I can't actually call this a con due to the fact I by no means expected getting a new monitor with a higher resolution so soon. -Runs most games pretty well by itself. I have it in an "uneven" crossfire connection with a 5750 and have yet to actually have anything that hampers efficiency (albeit ARMA two and Crysis, but that's to be expected when running at high resolutions/settings).-Has about the identical construct good quality of my 5750 (also sapphire), which is great. Shroud, fan, and heatsink all nicely secured; doesn't look like there had been any sloppy applications of thermal paste, and the fans are added quiet, even at 100% speed.-Comes with a crossfire connector (I know it's basically standard with cards like these, but it's always excellent to have a spare).-Extremely low cost upgrade for crossfire. Adding this to a 5750 gets nearly equal (sometimes less/more) performance than other, far more expensive cards (look them up, as I can't mention them here). -Gets truly toasty if you haven't managed your wires and you're operating crossfire. Operating Furmark gave me a 90C reading at peak in crossfire. On the other hand, I ran it by itself (without the 5750 under it) and it hit upwards of 85C. At that point, I toyed with my fans and crammed the wires out of the way, and in crossfire it only gets up to about 72C. Essentially, keep an eye on your temps.-This is just getting nitpicky, but they truly require to begin getting RAM heatsinks on these things. If you can manage to make some, I would put them on, since the RAM get's nearly as hot as the GPU according to a temp probe I employed (given this isn't also accurate, it could have been hotter/cooler).-Drivers are rather so-so. If you want to overclock, I would get MSI Afterburner as an alternative, as you can also manage your fan curve and voltages (things that catalyst won't let you tinker with). If you're going to go the crossfire route, not all programs are supported unless AMD makes a "profile" for them. Overall, a good card for the cost. I'm pleased with the obtain.

- Great for any person looking to save money and still have excellent graphics- Has all the goodies of any high-end card, DX11, GDDR5, even eye-finity which is great for enthusiasts.- Supports high-finish resolutions and has 4 connectors - Wish it had more shader processors, but that's what comes with this price tag range anyway- I'd choose a 20dollar money rebate, the existing rebate as of this date gives a discount on other cards. I don't plan to obtain a different card anytime soon...but the cost doesn't need any assist to start with. If you presently do not personal a graphics card and you are thinking about shopping for two of these for crossfire, don't. These cards in crossfire run about as well as a single 5870, but the 5870 still wins outs general and especially in conditions exactly where crossfire isn't even supported. The 5870 is the same cost as 2 of these cards, possibly even more affordable depending on which brand you go with. On the other hand, if your only seeking to purchase a single card in this price range, it's amazing bang for the buck. This is a guru3d review where I identified out the above information, don't take my word for it, take theirs.http://www.guru3d.com/news/radeon-hd-5770-assessment-crossfire/

I am in a position to run virtually all of my games at high to max graphics at a high FPS ࿒+). I have not tried Crysis since I truly don't care. I've not attempted overclocking it but, although I may do this soon now that I know it's a trustworthy card and I've had no problems. None but. It was a tiny difficult to get operating, but only due to the fact I was attempting to get it set up with my Apple 24" LED Cinema Display. I had to purchase a converter box from ATLONA (after I had tried 1 of their Mini DisplayPort => DisplayPort adapter dongles with no luck) for about 贶. I was A-OK with that obtain, even though, mainly because the Apple display is 1 of the finest displays I've owned and the 贶 was less costly than getting a new 24" display.

Nice card, supports CrossfireX, not as well pricey, runs games like Mass Effect 2 and F.E.A.R. two flawlessly. Has a blue led behind a translucent Sapphire logo which looks great if your case has a window. I know it's an outdated form of connector, but I wish it came with an s-video port, I haven't bought an HDTV however, and in all probability won't soon. It's major, but hey, you can tell from the picture. It comes with a CrossfireX ribbon. 1st time I've purchased a CrossfireX card, so I assume all of them do. Fits nicely into my micro ATX HTPCNo driver troublesEffortless install7.four WEI It is as well noisy for an HTPC I just had to do it. So a lot of positive reviews on this card: good efficiency, not as well huge, not as well a lot heat, quiet.Quiet is a relative term. Quiet to a gamer signifies quieter than the final maxed- out card he had. Quiet to me indicates, beneath usual usage, it does not drown out dialog though I am attempting to watch a film. And no, it not that poor. It does not drown out dialog, but the its fan audibly kicks in the moment I boot up the machine, and it is way louder than the dimunitive GT 430 card that preceded the Radeon, and I do not get any relief unless I completely power down. And it don't hear rattling or something like that to indicate the fan is not operating effectively, nor has the card made an undue amount of heat-- It shouldn't I am not utilizing it for gaming at all. Need to it be that loud? What is the experience of some of you other owners?

Wonderful price tag for the performance!Lower energy needs than an Nvidia GTS250Vapor-X keeps the card at cool temps At initial installation, there was a border about the pc screen working with the HDMI outputs. After undertaking a tiny bit of investigation, I found that all that was needed was to scale the underscan/overscan to % in the CCC. This was bothersome at very first but now I am experiencing complete screen 1080p that looks so significantly far better than my GTS250 did! I'm not an "Nvidia" or "Radeon" biased individual. I have owned both brands and I only go with the one particular that fits my budget/performance wants. Radeon has often been the more affordable firm and honestly, radeon cards in the past have been a lot worse than Nvidia. Nicely the tides have altered and Radeon is leader at the moment so that is the corporation I decide on to use.Intel Pentuim dual core two.5Ghz OC'ed to 3.07Gigabyte GA EP43-UD3LG.Skill DDR2 1066SAPPHIRE Vapor-X HD 5770
