I bought this board for a budget build. I was a little hesitant at first. But it went on sale for 74.99 and I couldn't resist. The board being fairly new had very little information about it on the net. I paired this with a i5 2500K and 8GB ram and a GTX 570. I was very very impressed. Excellent performance. I tried some overclocking and within half an hour I had it running at 4.6Ghz with some simple setting adjustments. Great board, wont work for SLI but single card set ups, and possibly crossfire no problem though! |
I've bought a couple of these for gaming builds - they work great with a 2500/2600k processor. Decent overclocking, good old fashioned BIOS, and room for plenty of expansion. I'd go for a Z77 board personally right now, but these Sapphire P67 ones are not a bad choice by any means.
