Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 X2 750MHZ 2GB GDDR5 2XDVI HDTV PCI-E Video Card
Cons:none really
Pros:Awesome processing power Comment:
Stock cooler is actually sufficient after the 8.10 drivers because you can set the fan speed. The temps are around 55 degrees idle with 30% fan speed. This thing certainly packs a punch, runs all my games fine. Right now I have it watercooled with a DD bock idling at 34. |

Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 X2 750MHZ 2GB GDDR5 2XDVI HDTV PCI-E Video Card
Cons:HOT
Pros:Blazing fast Comment:
This card eats every game out there once you set it up properly. Installed mine and tried to run 3d mark twice. Both times I came back to find my computer had restarted. Took a look and discovered it was idling at 80 degrees C. Yikes. Downloaded EXPERTool ATI and cranked the fan up to 60%. Sounds like im in a wind tunnel, but at least it only idles at 37 degrees now.Intel 9550Asus P5Q-EMushkin pc-8500 4gbSapphire 4870 x2Auzentech XFI Prelude 7.1Corsair 1000W This review was modfied by poster @ 09-26-08 07:15 PM |

Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 X2 750MHZ 2GB GDDR5 2XDVI HDTV PCI-E Video Card
Cons:Had to sell blood to pay for this, & with the amount of heat it emits, i don't think i need a heater during winter.
Pros:This card is a beast, hands down the best card i have ever owned. I couldn't believe the performance i was getting after i installed it. Comment:
My overall computer specs aren't great but it gets the job doneDell 24",Core Duo 1.86, 2 GB RAM, 850 Watts. On Call Of Duty 4,i managed to get a constant 225 FPS on medium graphic settings. (My old card i could only get it to stay stable at 80-90 FPS).Computer temperate is much higher than before. Used to be around 30s Celsius& now its high 50s. Its probably my crappy case. This product gets 4/5. |
