Cons:

Pros: price and look Comment:
I like the passive heat sink. it does the cooling job without the fan noise. Video quality is good. Perhaps, I'm not into heavy gaming. |

Sapphire Radeon HD 5570 650MHZ 1GB 1.8GHZ DDR3 PCI-E VGA DVI HDMI Low Profile Video Card
Cons:
None that I can think of
Pros: Low profile, ideal for servers Comment:
This went into the backup server, coupled with a Gigabyte X58 motherboard, an i7 950 and 12GB RAM. Good purchase, considering what its task is going to be. |

Sapphire Radeon HD 5570 650MHZ 1GB 1.8GHZ DDR3 PCI-E VGA DVI HDMI Low Profile Video Card
Cons:Well, it's no 5870, but then it's not supposed to be.
Pros:Low profile, suprisingly powerful little card. Super quiet, almost silent. Comment:
I would highly recommend this video card. If you are a casual gamer, or game on a monitor 1280x1024, this card has more than enough power.Great little card, what more can I say! This review was modfied by poster x 02-17-10 01:26 PM This review was modfied by poster @ 02-17-10 01:20 PM |
I bought this for my sister's Optiplex 780 Small Form Factor PC. It was in need of a new video card to replace its terrible on board graphics, and required a Low Form Factor graphics card. After much research and benchmark reviewing, I decided on trying my luck with the 5570.Computer specs: Intel Dual Core (not sure what model) 8 gigs of Ram (+4 than original with Patriot Viper DDR3 1333 sticks I won from Frag For Cancer)I can say I'm very impressed with it. I was not expecting it to be any better than the 9600M GT on my laptop, but instead it's running games at these framerates:Minecraft - 60 FPS + on full graphicsStarcraft 2 - 1080P resolution at everything set to High (I'm a Master level player and I can tell you it's very playable at these settings)League of Legends - 1080P resolution with maxed graphics(Benchmarks online actually rated it lower than I was able to get it)I'm very happy with this purchase and I suggest this card to anyone who is limited to a low profile card. This is by far the best one you can get.
