Very happy, plays all games very very well and blows the HD 4870 out of the water. This with a Core I5 750 and DDR3 rocks!averaging 150-200fps on modern warfare 2.Evidently, would highly recommend. |

Sapphire Radeon HD 5850 725MHZ 1GB 4.0GHZ GDDR5 PCI-E 2XDVI HDMI Display Port DirectX 11 Video Card
Cons:FoldingeHome
Pros:Quiet, Fast, Efficient Comment:
Upgraded from a 8800GT...the thing plays the latest games at 1920x1200 with high settings without any problems (paired with an i7 860). The fan is much quieter than the 8800GT (under load and not). It also has super-low power consumption when not gaming. The drivers are stable yet young, meaning new versions tend to improve performance by a noticeable amount. The only problem is that we need to wait for the new GPU client from FoldingeHome to take advantage of this card. |

Upgraded from 8800 GTX to this and i can say this was a big jump for me. Also the 8800 GTX consumes alot of power, which this consumes less then 8800 gtx. Save power! = money. |

Sapphire Radeon HD 5850 725MHZ 1GB 4.0GHZ GDDR5 PCI-E 2XDVI HDMI Display Port DirectX 11 Video Card
Cons:Noisy when fan speed is over 35%May not fit in all cases. It's a long card
Pros:Very Powefull and Cheap !Runs Crisis at 4xAA t 1650x1080 everithing maxed out, (It nerver goes below 30 fps).It runs cools and its not PSU hungry. Comment:
Don't wait fermi cards, feel the power of this beast right now. It's future proof (DirectX 11). Just overclock it to its max using CCC, there will be no or few impacts on temps. I'm sure this card could take more when using other tools (and some voltage tweaks). |
Choose this card over the 5870 because it was cheaper and I am able to overclock this card to reach the speeds of the 5870. I haven't done it yet cause I don't need to overclock this card yet.One thing that bugs me is that I found a small piece of plastic that came off somewhere. I don't know if there is any damage on the card, but so far running it has been fine.Specs: i7 920Gigabyte EX58 UD5120 OCZ Agility SSDAntec 1200 case
