Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 OC 975MHZ 2GB 4.8GHZ GDDR5 DVI HDMI 2XMINIDP PCI-E Video Card
Cons:None
Pros:Amazing speed,SMALL, energy efficient, quiet Comment:
This card is very aggressive. Solid performance across the board. Barely makes a sound. It is the ultimate mid-high end graphic card with performance similar to the 7870 and a price much much closer to the 7850. But perhaps the most amazing feat with that Sapphire OC edition is the fact that it's so tiny. So tiny in fact that it would fit perfectly in an mATX tower and it only requires one 6 pin connection from the PSU... |

Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 OC 975MHZ 2GB 4.8GHZ GDDR5 DVI HDMI 2XMINIDP PCI-E Video Card
Cons:catalyst control center issue
Pros:excellent valuenear silent fanshighly overclockablefree Dirt Showdown downoadcompact size will fit in most mITX cases Comment:
Bought this for my HTPC gaming machine as an upgrade from a HD5770. Big performance jump, more than double. The dual fans are very quiet, not audible while idle and still quieter than the 5770 at max speeds. When overlocked to 1200/5900 it matches if not beats a GTX580. Card also runs much cooler which is a plus in a confined mITX case.Only issue I have so far is not card related but with Catalyst Control Center. I cannot get the window to open and I've tried uninstalling and re-installing numerous times along with Driversweeper. Nothing but a clean install of Win7 would fix it. |

Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 OC 975MHZ 2GB 4.8GHZ GDDR5 DVI HDMI 2XMINIDP PCI-E Video Card
Cons:Nothing
Pros:Great price and quality Comment:
Purchased this to replace an old Radeon HD 4760, what a huge upgrade, runs everything I have tried flawlessly. Makes alittle more noise than my old card but that is due to two fans instead of the one and to be honest you can't really hear the difference when you have the case cover on.HDMI is great, just got to steal the 40" TV from the lounge now.Crossfire capable which is great but with this card I can't see any need for it at this time but maybe sometime in the future it will come in handy. |
I upgraded from an HD4850 and it's a big leap in performance. This is a very fast video card. Skyrim with the high res texture pack runs as smooth as butter; it's a constant 60 fps with vsync enabled. The Witcher 2, Risen 2 and Crysis 2 all run at very high fps with max or near max settings. The card has a very effective cooler with the heatsink and two fans that are silent at idle and really not loud when gaming. The temperature doesn't go above 65 C when the fans are manually set at 45% speed. Also, it doesn't consume much power as it requires only 1 pci-e connector.Overall I'm very happy with my purchase.
