Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 925MHZ 3GB GDDR5 DVI-I/DVI-D/HDMI/DP PCI-E Video Card
Cons:Not a reference design PCB, cannot buy a full coverage waterblock if you are looking to watercool.
Pros:Very powerful graphics card. Can overclock well, but gets a little loud.Comes with the Never settle game bundle, which is a plus if you like gaming. Comment:
Bought this to replace a Radeon 5850, so far it is a great upgrade. The card is fairly quiet if you keep it at stock or even just with a mild overclock, but if you really push it the fans become noticeable. Was thinking about watercooling my PC, unfortunately this card is non-reference design. It's not the end of the world, but I cannot push the card as hard as I originally planned. Or if I do it will be extremely loud. |
Awesome card. I took 2 of them after the XFX failed me with its jet engine coil whine along with artefacting all the time. So I went back to the store and grabbed 2 of these and I am not looking back. They can OC like crazy and still run k65 degrees Celsius k100% load. I mean what more can you ask from Sapphire, maybe a lifetime warranty. XFX need to learn how to make better coolers like Sapphire and ASUS.
