Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon HD 5770 860MHZ 1GB 4.8GHZ GDDR5 PCI-E 2XDVI HDMI Display Port Video Card
Cons:
none
Pros: great graphics card Comment:
funny, you would think that NCIX would fix the product page for this video card after all these months but they didnt... guess that tells you about the quality control going on there.anyways this graphics card is rly great, whats not mentioned is that there is a blue led around the fan of the graphics when its powered on.nothing bad about this card, great for its price, pretty high end and can handle almost all of the new games at max settings. |

Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon HD 5770 860MHZ 1GB 4.8GHZ GDDR5 PCI-E 2XDVI HDMI Display Port Video Card
Cons:
Starcraft 2 and WOW may crash.
Pros: Decent value. Comment:
Put this in my son's new machine (AMD Phenom II X4 965 with 4 gb of DDr3) and Starcraft 2 will crash on Ultra settings every time (the Black Screen of Death). Now, I don't think it's completely ATI's fault but it is driving me nuts. Stuck this same card into my Phenom 1 system (DDR2) and it runs with not a problem on Ultra settings. After days and days of research, yes, we can blame both Blizzard and ATI...but it's disappointing for my son to spend that cash and have it crash on his fave game. Finally have ATI Overdrive to crank up the fan to 100% while playing... and can now play on High setting (Ultra will still crash after 20 mins or so). Having said all that, this is a great card on my older system but I should have sprung for the 6850 instead. Sapphire has this card running at 38 degrees C at rest. 41 with dual monitors and 60+ during games. Anything over 65 puts it at risk of crashing. |

Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon HD 5770 860MHZ 1GB 4.8GHZ GDDR5 PCI-E 2XDVI HDMI Display Port Video Card
Cons:
none at the moment
Pros: ATI brand, cheap price. Comment:
Good quality card and allows high to ultra high settings on almost any games. Always use ATI driver and not those you can find on Sapphire website if you want to avoid lot of problem.I got HDMI scaling problem but it was caused by ATI 10.9 driver. 10.10 fixed the problem. |

Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon HD 5770 860MHZ 1GB 4.8GHZ GDDR5 PCI-E 2XDVI HDMI Display Port Video Card
Cons:
did not like the included molex - to pcie - power adapter
Pros: Fan shroud has a nifty LED, Eyefinity support Comment:
Overall happy with this, I bought this card to augment an existing 5770 for some CrossfireX.The eyefinity support is a bonus, as my existing card did not support it.It was causing reboots with my system when I used the included molex to pcie adapter, but once I switched to my power supply's included pci-e cable the problems went away. (Had to use the adapter on my existing 5770). |

Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon HD 5770 860MHZ 1GB 4.8GHZ GDDR5 PCI-E 2XDVI HDMI Display Port Video Card
Cons:
There is a blue/red sapphire logo on the side that lights up. Clashes with my color scheme.. Not really a cons tho.
Pros: Performs great, handles most of my games at max settings at 1080p. Comment:
The card ran pretty hot before installing the drivers. After that it was pretty much idling at ~40C and at most 60C while on load. The fan is very quiet. I wish I had waited 2 more days, then I could've gotten it for cheaper. |

Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon HD 5770 860MHZ 1GB 4.8GHZ GDDR5 PCI-E 2XDVI HDMI Display Port Video Card
Cons:
None
Pros: Works pretty good, runs cool Comment:
For the price this isn't a bad card that runs pretty cool. Just enough power to run most games at high resolution while remaining pretty cool in the process. Runs every game that I wanted to play on high details no problem. For the money, can't go wrong for a sub 200 card. |

A little more expensive than XFXNo lifetime warranty, just 1 year
Pros: FastEfficientRuns very cool Comment:
I haven't tested this card for gaming yet, but this card has been running very cool at 30C idle. It also looks cool with the Sapphire Logo LED that's on the card. |

Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon HD 5770 860MHZ 1GB 4.8GHZ GDDR5 PCI-E 2XDVI HDMI Display Port Video Card
Cons:
-the cooling design blows much of that hot air in the computer case (can be a good things, refer to summary-air vent for taking hot air out is very small like all other HD 5770 models I've seens
Pros: -fast-near silent (more so than reference)-no issues at all after 4 months of use-runs cooler than the reference design cards Comment:
I have no complaints about this video card in terms of functionality. Have not really overclocked much, however review sites are showing better than reference card overclocks. With the half sized exhaust vent it may have been a smart idea to allow hot air to stay in the case rather than hoping to force all the hot air out of a small hole. I bought this card for silence and for it's somewhat lower temps than than the reference design. I have good case ventilation and idle temps after 1 hour of use and some gaming in between is 40c and load temps reach about a max of 70c running the "Heaven Benchmark v2.0" with Directx 11 mode with Extreme setting Tessellation. When running hot the fan is audible though just sounds like air flow, no buzz or hum from the fan.If this card had a full card bracket for exhausting hot air and a design to exhaust more of the air out I would have no reason to not give 5 out of 5. If you have decent case cooling and of course a good enough power supply this is a great card. If I had to choose any HD5770 today I'd likely still pick this card. |

Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon HD 5770 860MHZ 1GB 4.8GHZ GDDR5 PCI-E 2XDVI HDMI Display Port Video Card
Cons:
None
Pros: Great Card. So far I can play all games on max settings--dirt 2, just case 2, nfs shift etc. Card is nice and cool with vapor-x but i'm not sure if the extra premium is worth it. It might be once i decide of overclock this baby. Comment:
Great card. Shipping was a bit slow with purolator but within the estimated weeks. Great card for the price and everything is working well 3 weeks in. |

Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon HD 5770 860MHZ 1GB 4.8GHZ GDDR5 PCI-E 2XDVI HDMI Display Port Video Card
Cons:
Crashes when it gets hot
Pros: Great card if you have no problems with it. Comment:
I wanted to request an RMA and Sapphire charges between $25-$50.00 in fees to do an RMA AND it can take up to 30 days to process. Anyone interest in buying my card? |
I bought this card just to fill in for a while and was pleasently surprised when I found out how awesome the Vapor-X model is. I overclocked this little beast to 1001 core and 1340 memory with the locked voltages! It is furmark stable and blazes through the games I have with ease and the fan keeps it under 70 degrees at full tilt. The cooler also has the neat little Sapphire logo that lights up blue when the computer is on which is just the icing on the cake. I'm tempted to buy another one now for Crossfire! A excellent buy and 100% recommended to anyone looking for the best bang for buck who isn't running huge resolutions.
