Scythe Hard Drive Stabilizer x4
Cons:
I wish there were more mounting options/points.
Pros: Very low price compared to the competition, easy to install and adds more hard drives than the number of bays it uses! Comment:
It doesn't exactly feels sturdy but my hard drives are secured and virtually silent so I cant complain. It would have been even better with different mounting options for a more "solid" installation. Great product regardless, I will likely purchase more in the near future! |

Scythe Hard Drive Stabilizer x4
Cons:Somewhat a hassle to setup, can see it making it hot for multiple harddrives.
Pros:Does an okay job. Comment:
Well it was harder for me to install since my case is screwless but can be screwed. It does reduce the vibration, not a whole lot but some. If you have multiple harddrives I can see this causing a lot of heat transfer. I only have one. The metal gets hot pretty fast. But I would buy again. |

Scythe Hard Drive Stabilizer x4
Cons:Read my summary, this is too long. Many things that should have been thought about. My first disappointment by Scythe.
Pros:I bought this to go with the Kama Bay. Overall it works. It does reduce noise, and it allows 4 drives to be mounted in your 5.25 drive bays. Comment:
I was not incredibly impressed by a few things. The Rubber is not strong enough to support 4 drives and bends a bit. The "Cage" as I am calling it, could have been made to hold the hard drives further apart, as there is plenty of clearance in 3x5.25 bays. This causes too much heat to transfer from my Raptor to other drives like a domino effect. And the WORST part...you have to somehow hold it up (with the weight of the HDs) and screw in the rubber, as the cage doesn't come low enough to support it. |
Great and virtually silentbought 2 so i wouldn't have to wait and buy again later(good if setup properly, useful if you want extra drive space in a limited case (if you don't use lots of 5.25 bays or they breath as well as having a fan blow over a case that dissipates the heat nicely will result in better cooling for the drives. In my opinion
