Cons: none, really.

Pros: cool, heatpipes, shorter than normal high-performance, quiet

Comment:
This is the socket AM2/AM2+/AM3 only version of the Katana. I got this for my Athlon IIx4 at 3.2GHz. Using MX-2 thermal compound, at about the same ambient temperature, the load temps dropped by 10*C+ vs stock. It fits nicely in my In-win dragon slayer case and I probably have enough room in there to still put on the side fans if I wanted.
