Scythe NINJA2 REV.B 6 Heatpipe Heatsink LGA1366 775 478 AM3 AM2+ 754 939 940 W/ 120MM Slipstream Fan
Cons:Enormous, painful install.

Pros:Extremely effective, super quiet.
Comment:
Despite a horrendous install experience (due in part to the horribly-designed socket 478 mounting bracket, no fault of Scythe), I'm extremely happy with the performance of this cooler. I'm getting 10-15 degrees cooler idle performance, with the fan not even full speed, and despite not testing under load, I'm confident it will vastly outperform my previous Vantec TMD cooler. However, this is one big cooler and it barely fit inside my mid tower enclosure. I could not fit my removable motherboard tray back in with the cooler installed so I had to remove it and reinstall it with the tray replaced, which was difficult, but in the end I got it.The other great strength of this cooler is how quiet it is. I noticed an immediate difference when I booted up my computer after the installation. It purs along softly now and lacks the whine of my previous cooler.I'm just lucky it fit!

Scythe NINJA2 REV.B 6 Heatpipe Heatsink LGA1366 775 478 AM3 AM2+ 754 939 940 W/ 120MM Slipstream Fan
Cons:very large and bulky had to take the whole motherboard out to install it and still with certian boards like asus maximus formula there isnt much room to play with so i was unable to remove the clips at all cost even with the motherboard out i only diced my hand up on the fins badly and never managed to get the pings unlocked and out i had to use a knife to break the clips off on 2 sides just to remove it

Pros:well the cooler is ok for processor colling was a bit better then the stock cooling
Comment:
all and all for the price and quality and crapy design i was unable to remove it and only lost about 10C over intel stock cooling on a q6600 and in the end ended up destroying it just to get it out i forgot the order number so had to post this as a 3 star
