Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Silent Fan 38MM 1000RPM 44.4CFM 19.8DBA
Cons:none at this price
Pros:38mm, inexpensive Comment:
This fan works very well. While it may not last as long as Panaflos or Deltas, it is also half the price. Perfect for systems not running 24/7. Recommended. |

Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Silent Fan 38MM 1000RPM 44.4CFM 19.8DBA
Cons:-thicker than usual so may not fit into certain tight areas
Pros:-quiet-push decent amount of air-good build quality Comment:
I was looking for some quiet high static pressure fans for my water cooling build and so I bought a few of these guys. So far so good, there are hardly audible and they keep my temps nice and low matched with a MCR320 QP. Would use them again, and they are a great price. |

Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Silent Fan 38MM 1000RPM 44.4CFM 19.8DBA
Cons:It's not silent at full speed. It's pretty thick, may not fit in some cases in front mounts.
Pros:The quietest fan for the amount of air moved I have ever tried. Comment:
Not silent but pretty quiet for the work it does. When used with a fan controller it can be near silent and still move much more air than a Nexus 120.Even wide open it can't be heard over normal background noise.Just don't expect it to be silent without a fan controller. |

Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Silent Fan 38MM 1000RPM 44.4CFM 19.8DBA
Cons:thickness
Pros:quiet, price Comment:
got one of these for case exhaust, it does move a decent amount of air and its quiet really quiet. But due to the thickness of the fan it does make a mid size tower look cramped. |

Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Silent Fan 38MM 1000RPM 44.4CFM 19.8DBA
Cons:Thick, rather large center, non-sleeved cable.
Pros:Quiet, Build quality, inexpensive, low pitch, not beige Comment:
Compared to the Noctua NF-P12, this one is about the same volume, but a more pleasing lower pitch.Free Air they push very similar amounts of air, but in a high static use like a radiator, this fan pushes air slightly better than the noctua. It is also not a hideous beige color and costs about half that of the Noctua. An excellent silent high-static pressure fan. |

Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Silent Fan 38MM 1000RPM 44.4CFM 19.8DBA
Cons:none so far
Pros:very quiet. helped keep temps on my xigmatek down for e8400 overclock. Comment:
the xigmatek is the perfect place for this fan as the cooler is not wide and with fan does not cover memory slots. there is plenty of air for this cooler. very quiet. with all the other fans in my antec 1200 i have no worries. |

Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Silent Fan 38MM 1000RPM 44.4CFM 19.8DBA
Cons:Does not blow all that much air.
Pros:Very quiet for its size. Much quieter than my very old 80mm's. Comment:
Overall, this is a great fan for the price. I wouldn't use it for cooling drives, or anything significant. But to exhaust, or intake air for the sides/top of a case, this should do the job perfectly. |

Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Silent Fan 38MM 1000RPM 44.4CFM 19.8DBA
Cons:doesn't pull enough air
Pros:Quiet compared to 3000rpm Comment:
This fan doesn't blow that much, but it's much quieter than my 3000rpm ultra kazes. Great for quiet builds who want decent static pressure. |

Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Silent Fan 38MM 1000RPM 44.4CFM 19.8DBA
Cons:-Loud-undervolting causes clicking when fan is not in upright position
Pros:-moves an insane amount of air-dropped my temps by a lot (more info below)-price Comment:
I got this fan for my TRUE 120 and it lowered my temps by about 10 degrees over a Noctua P12...but man o man is this thing loud...I got so frustrated wih it it's now in my spare parts drawer.... I tried undervolting it...and it will start to click which is due to the sleeved bearingget this only if you don't mind a crap load of noise, if you want the best performance/noise then this is not it.gets a 3/5 stars...does what it is supposed to but nothing extra |

Cons:-thick
Pros:-quiet-pushes a decent amount of air Comment:
I got two of these for my antec p180 and they work great. They move a lot of air and are really quiet.I would recommend these to anyone, just make sure you have enough clearance since they are thicker than other 120mm fans. |

Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Silent Fan 38MM 1000RPM 44.4CFM 19.8DBA
Cons:size? Its a double edged sword
Pros:Slightly quieter than stock fans in p182Seems to push more air than stock Comment:
I already had one of these but picked up another to complete the effect. I am using 2 as my rear chimney and exaust in my Antec p182. They seem to have dropped my cpu temp by a a couple degrees under load. Which was suprising. I regret not picking up a couple more when they were on sale. Great purchase for 7.99$. I would hold off buying them until they come on sale again. Maybe im cheap but 11.99$ is not worth a fan. |

Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Silent Fan 38MM 1000RPM 44.4CFM 19.8DBA
Cons:Sleeve bearing38mm thick limits usefulness
Pros:Low virationPushes/pulls through tight areas Comment:
Got this as an intake fan in my P182, with the drive cage and rails removed. Works very well, snapping the filter in and closing the filter cover barely affects the airflow coming out the backside of the fan. For such a big fan with heavy blades I was kind of expecting it to vibrate but mine runs smooth at full speed, very smooth actually. It's audible at full speed, but most of the noise seems to be low in frequency and not at all harsh sounding, even with the intake side shoved up against the grill.I spliced a couple 1N4001 diodes in series into a molex adapter to feed it ~10.5 volts, bit quieter without affecting airflow too much. |

Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Silent Fan 38MM 1000RPM 44.4CFM 19.8DBA
Cons:-bigger than expected
Pros:-Good in enclosed space-performs as expected Comment:
I probably should've read the dimensions before buying this fan, cause it's way bigger than the usual 120mm fans so I had to do my own little mods to get it working in my case. Other than the size problem it works fairly well. |
Used two of these as case fans for a p183 to improve overall airflow without adding any noise. They behave exactly like I had hoped and don't really add any appreciable noise to the system. The entire case is cool, and system components are cool despite some moderate overclocking.Hard to say anything bad considering the price and that you get exactly what you pay for: a low RPM 120mm quiet fan.
