I've got 2 of these hard drives running for 2 years (7200.10). The Seagate 250gb does everything you require of it. Fast seek, quiet, and highly reliable. Recommend Seagate hard drives to my friends. Great buy! (Which I always find from your company.) |

I use this drive as my main HDD. In tests I have run, it has run at an average speed of 104MB per sec read. No complaints about this drive. Great price! |

Outstanding performance

I've been using a pair of these hard drives for a couple years now. They're quite fast and totally trouble-free. I'm ordering two more for a new computer I'm putting together. The current model is evidently improved a bit (my 2-yr old drives are 7200.10, the new ones are 7200.12). Highly recommended. |

I do not know what are the difference from the .11 and .12 drives but they work as well and i do not thing thet make more of less noise. I still need to test I/O performance and sutch but from the look of it this is great stuff again! |
I bought this drive because I'm not a guy who needs a ton of space. 250GB is even overkill for me lol. This drive is perfect (38$ after a price match) and is also very quiet.
