Replaced two 80Gb Raid 1 system disks in a PowerEdge 1800 server operating 2003 server. The system is noticeably quieter. Utilized trusty ghost 2003 to repartition and clone a single old drive to one particular new, then recreated and rebuilt the mirrored array with each new drives. Worked like a charm.

Compaired to my old seagate 7200.12 500gb its twice as thick and more rapidly . ATTO benches 137mps . Only had these drives for a handful of hours and I am impressed. I have two of them for a raid setup. Sequential study - 248 MB/sec. Sequential create - 208 MB/sec. None. Much much better than SSD provided the existing costs.
