Pros:Amazing performance increases and boot up timesRuns faster than my previous 5400 Drive (which is usually standard in low-mid grade laptops)Good amount of storage Comment: I thought I wouldn't see the boot up time increases with my Laptop since it's just a i5 2410m (but maybe the 1333mhz ram helps a bit..) but I've been getting more or less the same. My windows boots up 50% faster, from over a minute, down to almost 30 seconds!

After reading some reviews of people not liking this drive I took the plunge and man am I glad I did. My bootup time on my Macbook Pro went from 1:06 down to 19 seconds. My computer is way more responsive. It actually runs like a Macbook Pro should, like a Pro computer. The drive installed perfectly and runs dead silent. Honestly I could not be happier, this drive screams!! Seriously the best upgrade I could have done for the money. If you are looking for a new drive, buy this! You wont regret it.

Comment: I have only had this drive briefly, but so far so good. Got it to replace a hard drive which failed in my laptop. I've noticed a huge increase in speed, not only in boot up speed but also in overall performance.

Comment: Great drive. Picked it up for a 15" 2012 Mac Book Pro, and there's a serious improvement in boot time and application load up. I'm really glad I picked this up. Highly recommended for those people who want a super fast drive, without having to sacrifice space for speed

It feels quicker for applications/folders and when you take into consideration it should* get faster the more it learns your habits and i am only using it with sata2 connections i am satisfied so far .

Pros:This is by far the best drive I have ever owned. Fast small and awsome. Comment: My system is already booting up in a fraction of the time. I dont have to worry as much about wearing out of moving parts or maximum number of writes since the solid state and spindle drives ease the wear on each other by sharing the work.

It is a tiny bit faster thanks to the SSD part. Even though the HD is 0.2mm over the spec according to the PS3 manual, it fits fine.

Can be used in both desktop and laptop. Comment: I have been wanting to get one of these for a long time. When it came on sale and they added a $20 coupon I couldn't resist. Installation and cloning of operating system off my old hard disk went without a hitch and the drive has been running great ever since. I had tried using OCZ Synapse cache drive but I had compatibility issues with my EVGA 750i MB. I have the synapse drive on another computer and it failed. Really screwed things up. I understand this won't happen on the Momentus XT.

I also have an OCZ vertex3 120g ssd as a secondary drive (for games/software) and a 2tb WD green drive for storage. I went to this configuration after about 2 years running 60gb g.skill ssd as primary with a 500g WD black secondary drive and the 2tb WD green drive for storage. I prefer my current configuration. This drive is not as fast as the g.skill was as a primary drive, but even though you do notice a small decrease in performance, the whole system still feels very responsive. Having to manage a 60gb primary drive and constantly having to move stuff around was not worth it.Lastly, i don't hear this drive at all. It's probably not dead silent like the ssd but i don't hear above the fans of my computer and those aren't loud either.

Boot time is much faster.I recommend getting a cooler since it can get a bit hotter.Great product!
