Pros:Faster then normall HDLots of space Comment:
Don't get me wrong I like the drive. But I own an SSD(I've had one for a few years now) witch reads 500MB/s so even these hybrid drives don't compare. If you want to save money and speed up the desktop a little this is the product for you, but if you're looking for pure performance get and SSD with a storage drive. |

Compared to my Seagate Momentus XT (which was already faster than most standard 3.5 drives), this drive improved reads by 21-42% and writes by as much as 86%. Fantastic! |

By about the 10 reboot after a clean windows install, the boot times sped up quite a bit. It's about how fast it was previously when I had an OCZ SSD in this machine (had 3 different OCZ SSD's in various machines die at the 2 year mark).When opening an app not on the SSD cache, it's about the speed of a fast HDD.This type of drive is good in a case with limited drive bay space, or when building a machine for someone that wouldn't be up for manually keeping track what drive their installing programs on (when using a separate SSD/HDD) |
First time I'm trying a SSHD and it's quite good, you get better performance than a HDD. Windows boots faster and everything is quickier.
