The modular cables are great however they are not sleeved. Sleeving would've been a nice touch but I figure at 450w they aren't in a computer where they will be shown off.I picked up 3 of these to build some workstations for work. 450w is enough power to run an i5, 3-4 case fans, a gtx 610 and 4 harddrives.Runs quiet and cool.Sure, you can get cheaper psu's but I have found a bad or low quality PSU can end up frying your other components. Spend the money on a trusted brand like seasonic and ensure none of your other components get damaged from spiked electricity. Can't stress this enough. |
Bought this for a file server build in a Fractal Define 304. The length of this PSU is the perfect for this case as it allows room for a long video card if needed. Also the modular ports are all arranged at the bottom so the connectors don't get in the way. Seasonic quality and reliability.
