Fan is noisier than expected after reading many reviews stating how 'quiet' it was. It's not terribly noisy, but I guess I was expecting something whisper quiet. With my old fan, you couldn't tell it was on; this one, I can definitely hear it.

This is a great modular PSU for the price, it's pretty much identical to the Corsair VX450W. It does have 2 PCIE connectors, one with 8 pins, the other with 6 pins so it could power any single GPU system without any hitch. It does squeal a bit, tho I'm getting used to that, I'd guess it's a characteristic of Seasonics PSUS because I've had some Corsairs and PC Power & Cooler Silencers make the same noise.

Easily the best power supply unit I have used thus far, and I have used Corsair 520HX and Enermax's Liberty line. Modular braided cables give excellent value. What's best is the excellent power characteristics, just check out the reviews online. Quiet as well for a bonus.

Thsi is the nicest power supply I ever have purchased. I feel it is nicer than the Power Supply I have in my main computer and that was double the price. It is very quiet ( I use it in a media center PC and it is hard to hear if the PC is even on.

Switching my power supplies over to Seasonic and Corsair (by Seasonic) builds. This one showed up at a great price in a surprise special. Find that these braided cables are easier to route than the flat ones that Corsair used in the 520HX and 620HX series.

I bought this modular PSU for my htpc and im very happy i went with this one. cables snap into place securely. And can be had for a good price when on sale

Great modular power supply for a budget gaming set-up. Cables are nicely wrapped and the power supply runs very cool with almost no perceptible noise. With only 500W, it won't power the high-end SLI or CF set-ups.

Just purchased this for $50 after MIR b a suprise special. Seasonic makes one of, if not the best power supplies on the market today, enough said.

This is one seriously nice Power Supply. My rails are spot on. The cables are top notch. It's my first modular and I love it. I haven't had a Seasonic for many years.. and this one comes with a 5 year warranty! I should have bought more!!

This seasonic replaced my non modular PSU which was also a seasonic. My experience with both have been all good. Never had a problem, runs quiet, the clips/connectors are nice and easy to use ...It's great.

This is a great power supply. The cables have good connections and stay put when you plug them in, unlike some other modular PSUs I've had. I can't hear it and it's cool w/ the large fan. Don't think about it, get this one.
