Cons:Not modular. This wouldn't be as big of a deal if it didn't have a buttload of cables, this doesn't take an egg off, because you should be able to see that it is indeed not modular. If you really need a modular PSU, go get the modular version.
Pros:Quiet, stable, does what its supposed to do without a hitch. Even handles overclocking very well. Comment:
Has never given me a problem as far as system booting properly, never any random shutdowns or anything in 7 months of moderate gaming use (I do game quite often but work all the time, you know) - looks like I picked a solid component! But... |

some brands emit a smell...ran across 2 name brands that did this. Guess I have bad luck. But decided to try Seasonic and so far so good. |
Going past 4 years now with this PSU & it's been rock stable. PC is on almost 24/7, computer is under heavy loads regularly from graphics apps to gaming & it's always been 100% stable. The current quality of this PSU is outstanding. Powering an old Phenom II 125 watt cpu & GTX 970 without any issues. I would get Seasonic again for my next build.
