It's cheap, and it's quiet. The 24pin and 4pin cables are quite short, but this is not an issue for my rig - I paired this with a Fractal Node 304 ITX case.

If you need a reliable budget PSU, at $25 on sale, it's a great unit. Just be warned the 4pin CPU connector is really short.

I do computer sales and service, and I always keep these babies on hand. Unless you're doing dual-socket or big vid builds one of these is amply sized for your build.Check any Seasonic review and you'll see that they're once of the most consistent manufacturers on the market in terms of quality and performance. Supposedly their retail PSUs are even quieter than these OEM units, but the OEMs are already plenty quiet.Great value here. Would be a bargain at a significantly higher price.

Not to mention I called them and they said they were gonna express it to me for my troubles. It's ground shipping they chose. Not the kind of customer service I like and the woman on the phone was just trying to get me off the line. I hope the item is not DOA, cause it'll be forever to get another one. Not sure I'll go with NCIX again. Probably be the Egg for me in the future.

Using this in a low powered computer I built for a non-techsavvy family member. No problems after 2 years of being turned on and shutdown almost every day.

Hard to review so soon after with a PS; but as of now, the two I bought have been running 24/7 with no issues. Seems like a solid build for a good value.

What can be said except this is a very good PSU to use especially on lower end builds. Whats even better is that it is an 80 plus rated PSU. Be careful using this on bottom mounted PSU cases as some of the cables might not be able to reach the motherboard. Overall a nice power supply, and my 5th time using it.

As with several other people who have reviewed this PSU the 24 and 4pin power cables are way too short. I have this installed in an Antec 300 case which isn't that big and it was going to be powering an ASUS AM3 board and the 4 pin power cable doesn't reach so I can't use it unless I get a smaller case or try and fine and extension cable.

So far I have nothing but good to say about this PSU, will see down the road how it performs. But paired with a good Gygabyte board and AMD cpu, it's doing the job great.

Spare parts accumulate and I needed a small powerpack. This seemed to fit the bill, and I have not been disappointed with this.

I've probably used about 25 of these for lower end system builds. They're very quiet and deliver solid power. I've had two that were DOA but they were purchased close together so I suspect it was a bad batch. Cables are a bit short but are OK for a standard system. It lacks the 6-pin Mobo power connector so you need to use something like SKU 51118 - the Startech ATX to EPS Power adapter for most motherboards now. The 400W Seasonic and higher wattages do have the EPS power cable so you may want to go for that if it is a requirement.

Now my standard for all regular home builds. Good price, excellent quality and adequate power for any system not using a high end GPU.

I used to use the SPI 400W for my standard builds, but switched to this. Two similar systems side-by-side, one with the SPI and one with this Seasonic, I can actually feel the efficiency difference between the two, with the Seasonic exhausting air that's hardly warm.

I looked for a long time for a lower wattage, but good quality, powersupply around the $30-$40 range, for basic system builds. This is that powersupply.

For machines that don't need huge amounts of power, this is a great PSU to go with. Basic 350W, quiet 120mm fan and proven brand name.Would definitely buy again if I needed one.High efficiency PSU is another plus for this unit, especially when it comes to light loads (45w quad cpu) where efficiencies typically are not at their best.

Picked this up for the girlfriend's build but that fell through so I have been using it in my spare windows tower ( i use linux...)Been running perfectly fine and quiet on the older board setup:athlon 2700 mobile Barton oc'd to 2505 mhz2 gb ocz 32004 fans 7600gt sc2 seagateslights and crap like that as well.

Perfect for that low budget build. Clean, stable power. Its quiet and efficient. Better to buy this than a higher power lower quality PSU. I love seasonic.

The cables on this supply are a bit short. I bought two of these and two mid towers & had trouble with the 12v power connector. Ended up having to purchase two extenders and even then they barely reached. I would recommend this for any smaller form factor case but that is about it.

Seems to me it's a good product, 80 PLUS, great price, quite low wattage though if you plan to use it on a budget computer, this is perfect.

We opened one of these up (and probably voided the warranty!), and the power supply is constructed with components of very good quality -- just as expected for a product from Seasonic. It's efficiency, as measured using a Kill-a-watt meter, is slightly lower than an Antec Earthwatts 380 at low loads (120 W), but slightly better at higher loads (200 W). However, the differences are very tiny (2-3 W at most).

bought this one since the one i purchased last year has been on 24/7 without issue and powering 6 1tb drives in my makeshift file server. I'd reccomend this to anyone looking for a low power solution for a rig. the 80+ eff is a bonus.
