This is a great headphones for portable use and it's easy to drive by portable devices without the necessity of a dedicated amp. The SQ does scale better with better amplification. It's a great choice for buyers who wants to get a sense of the Sennheiser sound signature which is slightly on the brighter side with good detail and clarity. |

Bought it at $69.99. Overall satisfied on the sound quality at this price level. Very well balanced overall. Bass isn't excessively strong (depends what genre of music you prefer). Noise starts at loud level. The ear piece is very comfortable, applies a soft pressure on ear but doesn't make your ear sweat. Noise isolation is surprising good, consider it sits on your ears rather than covering them. |
Picked these up for $70 when they were on sale and I'm pretty happy with them. They're light, and not too obnoxious, with that sennheiser profile I've gotta used to. If they ever drop to $60 or below, I'd buy a second reserve pair.
