Sennheiser HD700 Reference Stereo Headphones 8-44000HZ 150DB Spl 3M SILVER/BLACK
Cons:Not as deep in bass but these are open headphones after all. Wish it came with more accessories like 1/4 to 1/8 adapter.
Pros:Fantastic sound quality, big soundstage |

Sennheiser HD700 Reference Stereo Headphones 8-44000HZ 150DB Spl 3M SILVER/BLACK
Cons:Without a proper amp, will notice a treble spikeRequires a decent amp to bring out it's full potential
Pros:detailedlarge sound stagefun soundingVERY VERY comfy Comment:
Falls into a very small niche market. The thought of spending $700+ on a headphone will likely seem outrageous to many people. However for those who know what they're in for and have the equipment to power this bad boy..you're in for a treat =DWill also require some burn in time as with most 'audiophile' headphones |

Sennheiser HD700 Reference Stereo Headphones 8-44000HZ 150DB Spl 3M SILVER/BLACK
Cons:Expensive
Pros:Excellent sound, comfortable, very good build quality Comment:
HD700 has excellent sound with very good 3D image, broad sound stage, crystal high, tight heavy base, full mid-range. It needs a headphone amplifier to get the above sound quality though. My HD700 is still in burn-in period. But after 10 hour burn-in, I could tell the sound is improving. Very happy with the product. |
Great headphones for audiophiles. If considering these headphones, you do need an amp for it and a decent DAC as well. It makes the headphone do much more enjoyable. For the original price, it's not worth hit, but considering the recent price drop, it's a great value.
