Sennheiser PXC 250-II On-Ear Noise Cancellation Headphones

Bought these on sale for about the same price at another store.Most headphones that fold up I have troubles with the ear pads falling apart pretty quickly, or breaking at the folding points. These have held up well for at least half a year already. Using the case that is included with it I think has really helped. The case also has a side pocket for the 2 prong plane adapter, and useful for extra batteries.Using a Sanyo Eneloop Rechargeable AAA Battery I get about 8 hours of noise cancellation. As I use these for about 2.5 hours on transit each day, this means I can go 3 business days with out changing the battery. It takes 1 AAA.The noise cancellation is pretty good, though the speakers are quieter than most headphones. If it is a really noisy environment, these will work as well as a cheap set of headphones. If it is normal level of talking, then the sound is clear and better than normal headphones.It takes some getting used to the noise cancellation, especially when no sound is playing at all, but once you are used to it, everything is fine.When on sale under $100, these are good compact travel headphones and I would recommend them. At regular price of $279.99, these are overpriced, under performing headsets.
