I loaded Windows 7. VB6 doesn't like Windows 7. Note thae the memory must be two 1GB SIMMS, not 1 2GB. Be very careful with the case. The hooks that hold the back in place are tiny and VERY fragile. Once it is running, it is really slick - the Touch Screen is great. Except for the minor problems noted, it went together very easily. You will need a mouse and keyboard - you cannot load software with just the Touch Screen. |
Runs linus and windows xP like a champ. I would never even try windows7 on this. Win7 needs at least 4gb of ram. Makes a great terminal, or internet e-mail computer and pics. Not a gaming rig. Linus runs like a champ on it! Maybe good for a small workstation. Nice hardware for the price!
