Shuttle XPC SN78SH7 Barebones PC AM2+ GF780 DDR2 PCI-E16 1PCI HDMI Sound GBLAN 1394 eSATA
Cons:None, other than the weaknesses associated with any SFF pc
Pros:looks great, well put together, quiet. Comment:
Recently in the market for a PC, I found one of these on sale and thought what the heck, I'll give it a try. What a treat this little box is. I've been using it for a couple of days and have no regrets at all. Its nice and quiet , looks good on the desk, and obviously, smalltakes up very little space! Would definitely buy again! Doubt I will ever own a regular computer again. |

Shuttle XPC SN78SH7 Barebones PC AM2+ GF780 DDR2 PCI-E16 1PCI HDMI Sound GBLAN 1394 eSATA
Cons:Can be pricey
Pros:QuietEasy to installCable ManagementRemoveable Drive Cage Comment:
Great barebones system, got it on sale with a decent AMD processor. Onboard 8200 is fast enough for high definition playback, have not played any games on it yet. Easy to install with some geat cable management, and it is very quiet. |
Bought this for a budget HTPC and it was the first time I was buying a Shuttle barebone PC and I was really impressed by the overall quality and features it has.The design look and the build quality is very good. There's all the connections I was looking for (VGA, HDMI, firewire) and the desing of the heatsink is great, it is also used as a case fan at the same time. The only downside of these barebones is in the long run it might be a pain to find new mobo's to upgrade because they seems to be a proprietary format :-(For the DVD drive I used the Liteon IHAS124 Sata and the eject button fits just perfect with the one of the Shuttle.
