Operates and is incredibly quiet. Moves decent quantity of air. Afraid of life span on these fans from this company. Looked more than numerous sizes and appears to be a life span dilemma. Will hope not. Also under no circumstances free of charge S/H which is a premium. Add these to yet another order your currently paying for shipping and it's will be cheaper. Ordered wrong size and needed 92mm but soon after shipping and return shipping. Just not worth returning. |

Moves a lot of air, fairly quiet for the airflow Three of them died in much less then a month, see thoughts below. I don't know how this is even feasible. I purchased these 3 fans to install in my Home-Theater Pc due to the advertised performance being 14dB of sound and high performance/long lasting. My HT-Pc runs 24ǝ뤅. I just turned it off for the very first time given that installing these fans to add a different challenging drive, and when I turned it back on I couldn't think my eyes: 1 fan is dead, an additional fan tends to make a "tick tick tick" sound and the third fan I had to "finger-start" it to get it going!!I put my old fans back in and they're working just fine with out a difficulty. Huge let-down, SilenX. |

Hey, can you hear that?Hear what?Exactly! a little pricey. form element is a little thick for some applications. I was a scythe user for rather some time. SilenX is even quieter than that. I've been working with these in all of my builds that have adequate room for them. |

I bought two of these to replace fans in my noisy power supply. Soon after installing these, my Computer is now silent. None! These fans essentially elevated airflow and allowed the voltages to preserve far more steady. Fairly neat. |

Very quiet, in particular when it stops moving. After about 1 year, only 1 of the 5 I bough nonetheless operate. The bearings leak oil, then the fan grinds for a couple of hours, and dies. High-priced for such poor high quality. Doesn't as significantly air as the ArcticCooling replacements which are just as quiet. |

Silent... ...due to the fact it doesn't operate. I couldn't get this factor to spin up. Tried for a lengthy time with no signs of life. Had to replace with a less expensive and somewhat quiet Silverstone fan. Third Silenx product and third Silenx disappointment. |

I put this fan alongside with a dozen others to completely test it. Unfortunately I can say with out a doubt it DOES NOT push 30CFM. It most likely pushes 20-25CFM but at about 15dba. Extremely silent fan. All in all it's alright. Will only push 30CFM if a gust of wind is blowing on it to make it spin faster, in which its not 15dba, well perhaps the motor may well be, but it mounted or not is not. Poor marketing on SilenX behalf. To the guy who mentioned you can't really feel the difference of wind flow.. I ask you simply can you feel the distinction between a 15 and a 20mph wind? If not, I'd see a doctor. Sure you're not going to be precise, nonetheless theres a point exactly where you can be, id say about +/-5CFM, if you have a number of other fans to compare against. |

This fan is "oh so incredibly quiet." Maybe this is due to the fact it doesn't even perform. Bought two of these Silenx fans 5 months ago. Installed initial 1 when I initially received them. It worked. Lastly got around to installing second 1 yesterday. It was fully dead. Not worth the price to ship it back. At least I didn't loose too a lot income. |

Look cool. These fans don't push 32CFM. Even when they function fine, they're louder than advertised. I had to return two out of five, simply because they started sounding like a plane engine soon after a few weeks. These fans are rather expensive and I really feel I wasted my dollars on them. |

Quiet. It makes most other brands appear like noise makers. It is $$. If you want quiet, these are the ones to have. The silicone mounts are nice touches. I cut a phenolic fiber washer to use as mount insulators. It enables employing the screw for a much more solid mount. |

I know there are a couple of articles questioning the dba levels- but even if they are off (which is tough for me to think because these are really silent) the movement of air is truly very good. I replaced three 80mm fans and the noise difference was massive AND these issues move a lot more air than my old fans. If you're willing to devote the dollars for some quiet- you can't go wrong with these. None. |

Whisper quiet. I had to do a double take to make certain they were connected when I very first turned the personal computer on. Doesn't push as much air as it says it does, but it pushes adequate that it doesn't lose an egg. Ugly. I wouldn't put it in a windowed case. |

when it works it's incredibly quiet and moves a lot of air. so it does nicely at cooling with very low noise. about 80% of the time when it turns on, it vibrates definitely hard and makes a really loud noise. if you bang on it, it generally stops the vibration, but fundamentally if it's inside the case that's kind of challenging. at 1st i thought the challenge was due to the fact of the screws being too tight. i was wrong. even entirely unattached to anything (just sitting on the desk) it begins up vibrating like crazy and won't shut up till you give it a couple of very good smacks. it's fairly significantly the most annoying defect (other than not working at all) you could have. |

They blow air. THIS FAN IS LOUD!I'm trying to figure out why persons would say these are quiet. What are they comparing to???I wasn't happy with stock fan noise level in the Antec Microfusion Remote 350 HTPC case Ɠ x 80mm, Antec Tricool on lowest speed setting). I read the evaluations, looked at the specs, and bought 3x of the SilenX.To my surprise the SilenX fans had been considerably louder than the Antec Tricool fans! What a rip-off. Mark my words, you will not be happy if you're hunting for a really quiet HTPC.I ended up buying three Zalman Fanmate2 controllers to dial the fan speeds down. Effortless to mount / hide inside the case. Even even though they use resistance to slow the fans, and they generate heat, the Zalmans work good.Save your money. Forget SilenX. If you're searching for a inexpensive approach for HTPC cooling, remain with stock fans, and then dial-back the fan speeds with a controller (PWM or resistive based). My Computer is almost dead silent now operating at 32C idle, 65C complete load.
