Silverstone FN121-P 120mm Sleeve Bearing Case Fan Black 1200RPM 25.15DBA 58.47CFM
Cons:No 4-3 pin adapter included
Pros:Bare fan with screws Comment:
Picked up this one for one of my cases that required cooling the internals. Does the job just fine when I figured out how to leech off the 12V bus of the PSU so I don't have to buy the 4-3 pin adapters at an inflated price. |
Needed some spare "just in case" fans to have on hand. Nothing fancy here, but decent airflow for their noise/speed, and extremely economical. These are single speed fans (3 pin) so won't ramp up or down according to the motherboard's temperature sensor. However, I tested these with a Zalman Fanmate and they happily operated at all settings and ramped up and down nicely. At the low setting I could almost read the label on the motor housing! They don't move quite as much air as the more expensive Coolermaster I reviewed elsewhere, which was quite evident just by holding a hand in the exhaust. This isn't surprising since they spin at 60% of the Coolermasters speed, fin design aside. Well worth the price I paid for a pair of them, though.
