Have used these in silver/alum. and also black to compliment/match different case materials/colors. Use colored auto. loom to neatly bundle up the wiring. Work perfect for those who dislike reaching around back or cases that have sidemounted or very low to the floor mounted USB ports! PM'd down by a third. |

I had a lot of trouble when I first installed this, it completely buggered my XP install for some reason, I ended up having to reformat. After a bit of troubleshooting I found out my motherboard's(M2N-SLI) AC'97 front side port just will not work with the headphone and mic jacks. It's actually so bad that the computer is barely functional when the front jacks are hooked up. It could be just a fluke and my frontside port might be crap, but at least keep it in mind if you run into weird problems with this. I'm sure the ports will work fine once I get around to putting in a soundcard with frontside ports. |

This is exactly the item I was looking for to go with my aluminum Lian Li case. I was not disappointed. Good build and finish, 4 front usb ports, and it plugs directly into your motherboard's headers (usb/audio/firewire). Great price too. Also comes in black finish. |

Silverstone makes excellent-looking and high quality products! This device is excellent for extra USB ports, Firewire, and headphone/MIC jacks. The unit is also made of aluminum to blend in with my silver case that's also aluminum. Simple to install! Definitely worth the $20. :)I will most likely buy a black one in the future when I go towards using a black case. ^_^ |
