Silverstone FP36B 3.5IN USB 3.0 Dual Port Front Bay Adapter & 2.5IN to 3.5IN Bay Converter Black

Fits two SSD's in a 3.5 bay although extending your USB three. ports from back of Computer to front.I like this product a lot and it performs good.Cables are roughly three feet long so plenty of manuverability. Not mentioned in other critiques or details, but this came with a pci bracket with rubber grommets so you dont have to generate any holes in the back.. Was worried prior to, but the pci bracket is good. The whole device itself, feels high excellent. It feels expensive. The cost is ideal, with the going rate of USB3. extensions getting 9+ship a peice,, and then add a 3.5 two ssd bracket, this is a bargain, and fits in nicely with the black of my coolermaster case. Cables are a little stiff, but every little thing functions.Fitting the two drives in exactly where the extension begins in the device makes you feel like you are going to damage the cables.,, but like I stated every thing functions. A single day soon this will be a 15 dollar product,, and will be even a far better deal. Given that no MB's presently have on board connectors for USB3. for front panel, and the addon cards are iffy and high priced, this was a great resolution. Not to mention I have a extremely smaller case and necessary to fit the two drives in and this was perfect. |

It is a neat little device that moves your USB 3. connectors from the back of your computer system to the front. Considering that most 1156 motherboards don't have USB three. connectors on the board (those that do rob the PCIE channels) and only have them on the back panel this box permits you to connect to the back panel bring the cables via the personal computer to the front of your personal computer. It functions good with my HTPC Silverstone LC13-E with an ASUS P7P55D-E Pro motherboard. None, it does what it is supposed to do. Cables run by means of the personal computer out the back and plug into the USB 3. connectors. Someday USB three. will be more typical and this device will no longer be necessary. |

Does what it says it does and looks great whilst undertaking it.I have an SSD and laptop tricky drive installed on this factor and they each work flawlessly. You'll have to mount the bottom 2.five" drive (If it's a tough drive) upside down, otherwise the circuit board would touch the adapter. It'd be good if it was a couple of dollars cheaper, but where else can you get USB ports AND two extra tricky drive bays? Let alone USB 3. I enjoy getting the blue USB three ports on the front of my case for uncomplicated access, I'm just using a mini-ITX chassis. I'll have to get creative once I get a video card installed. Hopefully there is adequate room left on the I/O Shield like I think there is for me to cut out holes for the cables. The included bracket is working nicely in the imply time. |

Makes life less difficult and not have to move my computer case to get to the back and not have to look for a new pc case.I agree with Relic None |
No challenges at all. Simple to set up and set up' If you like a clean case like I do, hiding these wither from the front to the bach was a tiny work. But I ran the along the major edge, via the chanel in the best fan and out the back via the holes for water cooling. IT took some time but you would have to look actual tricky inside my case to see them. This has created life significantly simpler. Now when I want to use USB 3., I don'r have to move my case out and turn it around to get to the back. The plugs are now right up front exactly where the need to be.
