I've had this PSU running continuously for three years. I love it. Heat has never been an issue. It has a green "normal temp" LED and an orange "getting hot" LED, and I think I've seen it go orange once ever. It's barely even warm to the touch. If you have fairly reasonable power demands (I've run an Athlon64 at 100% load 24/7 with no fancy video) and care at all about PC noise, this seems like the perfect choice. It has a nice look and feel, too, if that matters to you. I'm amazed there are so few fanless PSU models out there in these days of increased concern for quiet computing, but certainly I've had no regrets at the dearth of alternatives to the ST30NF.
