Comment:
It's a 4 SATA power adapter that uses SATA power from your power supply to extend 4 more SATA plugs. This keeps cable clutter to a minimum in your case and adds more plugs if your power supply doesn't have enough to plug in all of your hard drives. I bought this for the sole purpose of cable management and have no regrets.
