Overall the speaker system is a good quality and plays at a decent volume much greater than any laptop speakers and good enough for a small get together, personal use, and outdoors. My only issue is that when it is clipped together the system does not unfold far enough and the weight of the speakers closes the case. Easily solved by removing the clips. |
I got this on sale for $39.99. At that price this is a must have, at $149.99 the price is a bit much. Excellent sound, much clearer and louder than your laptop speaker. Zips up to protect speakers while transporting etc. Works well and charges both my iPhone3G and nano. The power cable to the wall is long enough but the "art" on the outside of the case leaves me wondering. I spray painted mine to keep my friends asking WTF every time they see it. Haven't tested true battery life yet and the size is larger than you might expect, ~9in across and ~4in tall when closed but at $40, you wont find a better sounding portable iPod speaker set
