Spec Ops totally blew my expectations out of the water. I went into it assuming all I was getting would be another mindless CoD clone, but I was way wrong.The story is intense, and revolves around PTSD and the horrors of war, seen from the perspective of a small squad of US soldiers sent in to help in the evacuation of Dubai after the city's abandoned due to catastrophic sandstorms. Whoever their writer is, the person deserves a medal.The cover system is awesome, and hearing your guys yelling back and forth to each other while under heavy fire is awesome. That, coupled with all the various locales in and around Dubai you'll see action in, make this one a sure-fire winner.The only negative I can give it is the short campaign, which I clocked in 9 hours on start to finish. But really, the story makes up for that, and I didn't much care about the shortness by the end.
