bought this on sale and love it, its a great game for the price i didn't pay alot for it and i played it until i beat it only took a little time to beat. i really like that i didn't have to pay full price for it. i still use it as a benchmarking tool for when i put together a new computer. |

It's THQ. It was 2 bucks. I think it was worth it. It wasn't as good of a deal as the Orange Box for $5, but I don't regret spending 2 bucks on this at all. |

Bought it for two bucks, use to play Shadows of Chernyobyl the first one and liked it. Got this so I have something to kick around on the laptop, and it plays great. |

I picked this up on sale for $1.99 and I've seen it going for around $5 some days so just wait for it to go on sale. It's a pretty decent game for the price, if more games were this cheap I'd have a ton of them. But yea overall a great game for the price would recommend it to a friend as a pc game to play to pass the time. |

Poorly optimized for lower end PCs. Not very good compared to the other STALKER games.
Pros: Incredibly atmospheric, and save for mutants, paranormal activity, etc it is perhaps the most realistic shooting game you can get. Infinite repeatability. Comment:
Been a fan of the series ever since Shadow of Chernobyl came out. While the series is not known for it's optimization or public appeal, it is an incredibly atmospheric game that I definitely suggest to any fan of the horror/FPS genre. |

overall its a decent game, with an 8 dollar price after discount it would probably be worth it. this game is not the best out there but definitely one of the cheapest. if you like the stalker series then this would be a good buy. |

Bought this game for my grand kids to use but had trouble with install on new computer win7 64 bit, compatabily issues? I could have figured it out. No matter! Gave it to brother who helped me build my new computer. he installed it and says it works just fine running on his vista 32 bit system .For 5 bucks who can complain , besides he's happy with new game and I got all the help I needed with new build. Oh Ya! and now I'm lookin for A new game on sale I can buy for my grand kids... |

Same basic principle as STALKER Shadows of Chernobyl but allows you to have more interaction and assistance from and with the other NPC's. Enemy AI is more challenging. This review was modfied by poster @ 12-14-09 01:12 PM |
I got this on sale two months ago. The graphics in this game is pretty nice but the gameplay is pretty hard. I died a few times while playing on easy (which shouldn't happen). Also, the lack of tutorial might be inconvenient as you have no idea how to use the interface without trial and error.
