Does what it's supposed to do, and the COM port retention feature is very useful. No matter which USB port it is re-plugged into, the COM port assignment will remain the same. This is the main difference between the Pro and the non-Pro version of the Startech USB-serial adapter. |

For 16.03, it is a deal. I ordered it for a server that doesn't have a COM port. Compatible with all Windows version including Windows Server 2008 R2 X64 |
Bought this to use with our old equipment, however, with this at regular price, I would put the money toward a better motherboard with build in serial port. Work as described. This review was modfied by poster @ 06-05-11 08:08 PM
