these have been a lifesaver for me. I have had to use these in a few places where my 100 ft cable was not quite long enough. also, always keep on in my tool bag just incase i need that extra reach.PM these to less than $1 CDNSide note... these still enable gigabit transfers where some are only 100 mb... this was a nice surprise. |

Cons:Having to use one if your cable isn't long enough is the CON in the first place! Mouse nibbled my original cable so YEAH had to make a splice with this coupler.

Other than perhaps having to use one of these then it's safe to say this works as good as the wire was previously. My Gigabit network still works as intended without a hiccup. Claims this is only for CAT5e cable, it's for CAT6 too yes. |

Works exactly as you'd expect, without issue. It's good for adding length to a network cable. You just have to plug two cables RJ45 together and it works! It's good to have when you're working in IT and for that reason, I bought a bunch! |
