StarTech typically makes great products, I have one that does not support Raid and it works well. However when I tried to buy the raid version I got (twice) the non-raid version in a box marked RAID. So I think the company is having a problem with packaging. The unit is stylish and would probably fit the bill if I could have gotten the right one. Decided to try a different manufacturer and got it right that time.
