my first usb hub was an MSI 7 port one that i bought from ncix, it broke within a few weeks. this startech one is just amazing. zero problems with it. i have my brother MFC printer, usb speakers, external DVD burner, wireless mouse, and sometimes my ipod and cell phone hooked and it does not lag at all. and surely love how it comes with a power adapter with it.
