Great price point for simple wall plates to complete home network wiring. These also matched my other wall plates so it was a nice find.

I had trouble finding any of these at the local hardware and building supply stores, so I was quite pleased to find them offered here. I needed several for some renovations I had done, that included running some new ethernet cable. Since not all the connections would be used at any time, using wall plates was the simplest and neatest way of providing access to the home network in each room when needed. It should be noted that these are only wall plates. I already had the RJ45 connectors necessary, that need to be installed in the wall plates. There are complete units that include the connectors that can be purchased as well, if needed, and some may find this option more convenient, although usuall significantly more expensive. There's not a whole lot to say other than it fits on a standard outlet box and makes a nice, neat and inexpensive way to set up your LAN, especially when combined with jacks that do not require a punch-down tool. Would I buy again? Well I bought several and unless I decide to expand the network, I don't suppose I'll need to. Comes with screws and matching plastic caps to conceal the screws once installed.
