Steelseries Kinzu Optical 3 Button Gaming Mouse USB
Cons:Documented problems, USB power problems
Pros:Small, light, no nonsense mouse Comment:
It's a great mouse, but overall it is plagued by a few key problems.a) Acceleration when you swing too fast (negative), and also if you move the mouse very slowly, it ends up tracking less distance than it should (positive accel?)b) Every so often the mouse will disconnect itself from the USB, which is weird because the optical LED light is still lit, but the mouse becomes unresponsive. After a few seconds the mouse will reconnect itself with the USB-device sound playing.SS said they are working on a fix, and the power issue is cable related. Overall, it's a mouse with good potential, but I would definitely wait for them to fix it or buy the Razer Abyssus (to be released) which seems like Razer's attempt to capitalize on the absolutely botched launch by steelseries. |
I've read review here saying this mouse had issues, but as of now I didn't have any. Maybe the new drivers fixed those issues people were having? Anyway I'm totally happy with it!This is a great mouse imho, way better than your normal Dell, MS or Logitech mouse. Highly recommended.
