When I received this fan controller, it appeared to be faulty.Rpm signals were not being sent to the mobo and the fans just ran at full tilt. I was just about ready to RMA when I noticed the pins in the pwm connector were reversed. On a whim I decided to reverse the pins and wouldn't you know it? It works like a charm.I don' hold Swiftech responsible for this as its quite a minor screw up but definitely needs to be addressed, as obviously its not going to work if improperly wired from the factory.I posted on Swiftech's forum, to advise accordingly of my findings.All up, I'm still giving the product 4 stars as it does function quite nicely.An 8 fan controller at this price, is a steal. |

It does exactly as it says. Very easy to install, comes with 2 bolts and nuts for mounting and a peel-off tape on the back in case you can't bolt it where you want, which was very convenient in my case. The length of the cables is sufficient enough so the splitter doesn't have to sit too close to the CPU_fan connection.
