Swiftech MCR420-XP "EXTREME PERFORMANCE" Radiator Series - Quad 120mm
Cons:- It's very big, it won't fit in most cases.- The paint can scratch away easily.
Pros:- Huge amounts of surface area for maximum cooling.- Very solid design; doesn't feel cheap. Comment:
This radiator is a beast! I have it cooling my system with 8 120mm fans in 4x push/pull configuration and temperatures have never been lower! If you don't mind having an external radiator (or a completely monstrous case) than this rad is the way to go. The only problem is that the black paint can scrape away very easily if your not careful but that didn't matter for me as I made an external housing for this rad. Will definately buy another one in future for even better cooling because ivy bridge cpus need all the cooling they can get! |
using this and a MCR320-XP to cool a 3770Kx4.8GHz, and 2 GTX780 Hydrocopper cards with no problems at all. 3770K max 48C, and 780s max 53C stress testing. Very long but fits in the bottom of my Corsair 900D, using only pull configuration of fans.
