Well were should I start...Well this block is amazing. It was designed in collaboration with the Asus for a few of there motherboards. It was very easy to install, It's well designed and top build quality we know from swiftech. It has an unrestricted water chamber to minimize pressure drop in high-flow applications and promote better overall system thermal performance. Therefore the performance of this block is amazing. Overall, the Northbridge load temperature drop ped by 13°C and the Southbridge benefits from the NBMAX as well, seeing a temperature drop of 10°C. With the MCW-NBMAX installed, the Northbridge temperature never passed the 42°C mark. That's great. Highly recommended. |
I installed this on my asus rampage 2 extreme , nb idles at 35-36 c , sb idles at 37 c and the nb never goes over 39 c at load (corei7 920 q4.5 ghz) ambient 24-25 ci never used the stock heatsink on the nb , so i don't know how much better it is , but i'm sure it is well worth it
